1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using StreamToolz ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by and abide by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

StreamToolz is a Twitch streaming toolkit that provides:

  • Broadcasting overlays and visual enhancements
  • Twitch chat bot with commands, timers, and moderation
  • Song request and music player functionality
  • Loyalty points and gamification systems
  • EventSub integration for stream alerts
  • Anti-spam and viewerbot detection
  • Cross-channel moderation tools
  • Discord integration for notifications
3. User Accounts

To use StreamToolz, you must:

  • Authorize the application via Twitch OAuth
  • Maintain a valid Twitch account in good standing
  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information during setup
  • Not share your account credentials with others
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized account access

You are responsible for all activities under your account. StreamToolz is not responsible for unauthorized account access.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use StreamToolz to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Violate Twitch Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or violent content
  • Spam, scam, or phish other users
  • Distribute malware or malicious code
  • Create bots that bypass authentication or rate limits
  • Resell or redistribute StreamToolz features
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access our codebase
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
5. Moderation & Auto-Ban System

StreamToolz provides automated spam detection and cross-channel banning features. You understand and agree:

  • The bot may automatically ban users posting known spam domains (TIER 1)
  • TIER 2 detections flag suspicious patterns for our review
  • We are not liable for false positives or false negatives
  • You remain responsible for moderation decisions in your chat
  • Always review bans before implementing significant moderation actions
  • StreamToolz is a tool to assist you—final moderation decisions are yours
  • StreamToolz bans are monitored and we use a specific list of known domains to make our Global Bans
6. Disclaimer of Warranties

StreamToolz is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Availability or uptime – The service may be interrupted, taken offline, or unavailable at any time due to maintenance, updates, or unexpected issues.
  • Reliability – Bugs, errors, or outages may occur despite efforts to maintain stability.
  • Feature continuity – Features may be changed, replaced, or removed at any time without notice.
  • Detection accuracy – Automated moderation is not perfect and may result in false positives or missed detections.
  • Data preservation – Settings, configurations, or stored data may be modified, reset, or lost.

We make no guarantee that StreamToolz will meet your requirements or that it will be available at any specific time.

No service level agreements (SLAs) or guarantees of any kind are provided.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STREAMTOOLS AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damage to your reputation or relationships
  • Errors made by the bot or false bans in your chat
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Third-party actions or Twitch API changes
8. Support

Support is provided on a best-effort basis. StreamToolz is independently maintained, and while we will do our best to assist, we cannot guarantee responses, response times, or resolutions.

There are no paid support tiers, priority support options, or guaranteed service levels.

9. Donations and Tips

Any financial contributions made through platforms such as PayPal, Stripe, Twitch (including subscriptions, bits, or other monetization features), or similar services are considered voluntary tips.

  • Tips are optional and made to support the project
  • They do not grant access to additional features or benefits
  • They do not provide priority support or special treatment
  • They are not payments for services

All tips are final and non-refundable.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee:

  • Continuous, uninterrupted service
  • Zero downtime for maintenance or updates
  • Availability during Twitch API outages or changes
  • Compensation for service interruptions

We may perform scheduled maintenance and will attempt to provide advance notice.

11. Third-Party Services

StreamToolz integrates with Twitch, YouTube, Spotify, Discord, and other services. We are not responsible for:

  • Changes to third-party APIs or functionality
  • Third-party service outages or downtime
  • Third-party service terms or policy changes
  • Your compliance with third-party terms

Use of these services is governed by their respective terms.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All StreamToolz code, design, and features are owned by StreamToolz. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use StreamToolz for personal streaming purposes only.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or derivative work of StreamToolz
  • Distribute or resell StreamToolz or its features
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to discover the source code
13. User Content

You retain all rights to content you create within StreamToolz (custom commands, overlay configurations, etc.). By using StreamToolz, you grant us a license to store and process this content to deliver the service.

14. Twitch Compliance

StreamToolz complies with Twitch's Bot Policy. The bot:

  • Will not spam or exceed Twitch rate limits
  • Respects Twitch moderation API requirements
  • Will not impersonate Twitch staff or other users
  • Complies with Twitch Community Guidelines

Violations of Twitch terms may result in bot suspension or account termination.

15. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

  • You violate these Terms of Service
  • You violate Twitch Terms or Community Guidelines
  • You engage in illegal activity
  • Your Twitch account is suspended or banned
  • As required by law or legal process

Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of StreamToolz after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

17. Changes to Service

We may modify, update, or discontinue StreamToolz features at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for changes or discontinuation of features.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StreamToolz, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or costs arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of StreamToolz
  • Your content or actions in your chat
  • Your violation of applicable laws
19. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StreamToolz regarding your use of the service. These terms supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

20. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located therein.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
